Objectives of the project:

1. Synthesis of catalyst based on Ni and Co-doped ceria nanoparticles.
2. Synthesis and development of high surface area fluorohectorite clay minerals.
3. Preparation of DFM with optimized adsorption and catalytic properties.
4. Detailed physicochemical characterization of all materials.
5. Testing in a fixed-bed reactor under O2-free and simulated flue gas capture steps.
6. Construction and stable operation of ICCU process.
7. Techno-Economic Analysis and a Life Cycle Assessment.
